About the Event
Learn the art of sashiko stitching - a Japanese style of stitching that was used to mend, reinforce and decorate garments. At its heart a running stitch, learn the rules that make it such a versatile, fun and useful style of stitching. In this workshop we will make one or two coasters, with sashiko patterns, using traditional indigo-coloured fabric, cream thread and sashiko needles. All materials are included. Maximum of 6 people in the group.
